Efeitos de intervenções nutricionais nos desfechos clínicos e antropométricos de mulheres com câncer de mama: Uma revisão narrativa

Resumen

Introdução: O câncer de mama é principal causa de morte por câncer entre as mulheres. O estilo de vida saudável é fundamental para melhorar o prognóstico e a qualidade de vida entre sobreviventes de câncer de mama. Ao considerar a relevância epidemiológica da doença, e ao destacar a dificuldade de mulheres que já tiveram a doença em controlar parâmetros de saúde, como peso corporal e inflamação, reconhece-se a importância em se desenvolver uma revisão de literatura a respeito dos efeitos de intervenções nutricionais nos desfechos destas pacientes. Objetivo: Descreveu-se os efeitos de intervenções nutricionais nos desfechos clínicos, antropométricos e bioquímicos de mulheres com câncer de mama. Métodos: Trata-se de uma revisão narrativa de estudos publicados nas bases PubMed e Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO). A busca deu-se entre agosto e setembro/2025, tendo os critérios de inclusão: publicações dos últimos 5 anos (2020 a 2024); artigos em inglês e português; enfoque em intervenções nutricionais para mulheres pós-diagnóstico de câncer de mama. Excluíram-se estudos com foco exclusivo em prevenção primária do câncer, revisões de literatura, relatos de caso, dissertações e teses. Resultados: Foram identificados 20 estudos sobre a temática, sendo 40% (n=8) voltados a desfechos clínicos (melhora na qualidade de vida, redução de toxicidades do tratamento oncológico e redução de mortalidade); 40% (n=8) estudos com enfoque em desfechos antropométricos (redução de peso e gordura corporal); e 20% (n=4) trabalhos sobre desfechos bioquímicos (redução de marcadores inflamatórios e de estresse oxidativo). Destacaram-se como intervenções nutricionais mais mencionadas a dieta mediterrânea sendo 14,3% (n=3); e os suplementos vitamina D, ômega 3, isoflavona de soja, beta-glucanos, zinco e cálcio sendo 9,5% (n=2). Conclusão: Estes achados elucidam as principais formas de tratamento dietoterápico para mulheres com câncer de mama, a fim de melhorar o prognóstico e qualidade de vida.
