Introduction: Parkinson's disease is a chronic and progressive neurodegenerative disease, whose frequency increases with population aging. In addition to motor manifestations, its evolution may be associated with complications that require hospitalization, generating a significant impact on health services. Objective: The profile of hospitalizations related to Parkinson's disease in Brazil between 2022 and 2025 was described, considering its regional distribution, sex, color/race, and age group. Methods: An epidemiological, descriptive, retrospective, and quantitative study was carried out, based on secondary data from the Hospital Information System of the Unified Health System (SIH/SUS), made available by DATASUS. Hospitalizations registered in Brazil between 2022 and 2025 with a diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease were analyzed. The data were organized according to region, sex, color/race, and age group, and descriptive analysis was performed by absolute and relative frequencies. Results: A total of 4,474 hospitalizations related to Parkinson's Disease were identified. The Southeast region had the highest number of records, corresponding to 46% of the total, with 2,069 hospitalizations, followed by the South region, with 28% (1,235 hospitalizations), and the Northeast region, with 17% (741 hospitalizations). Males accounted for 62% of hospitalizations (2,788), while females accounted for 38% (1,686). White people accounted for 53.3% of the records, followed by browns, with 38.4%. Regarding age, the 60 to 69 age groups stood out, with 1,241 hospitalizations (27.74%), and 70 to 79 years, with 1,214 (27.13%). Conclusion: Hospitalizations for Parkinson's disease were mainly concentrated in the Southeast and South regions, among males and among elderly people, reinforcing the importance of strategies for the prevention of complications and multiprofessional follow-up of this population.
