Panorama epidemiológico da morbidade por Hemorragia intracraniana no Brasil (2016-2025) e papel da fisioterapia na assistência funcional desses pacientes

Introdução: A hemorragia intracraniana representa uma das principais emergências neurológicas, caracterizando-se por elevada morbimortalidade e importante impacto sobre o sistema de saúde devido à necessidade de atendimento imediato, internações prolongadas e reabilitação especializada. Objetivo: Descreveu-se o perfil epidemiológico das internações por hemorragia intracraniana no Brasil entre 2016 e 2025, considerando variáveis sociodemográficas e clínicas, além de discutir a importância da atuação da fisioterapia na assistência hospitalar e na reabilitação funcional desses pacientes. Métodos: Estudo epidemiológico transversal, retrospectivo e descritivo, utilizando dados secundários do Sistema de Informações Hospitalares do SUS (SIH/SUS/DATASUS). Foram analisadas as internações por hemorragia intracraniana registradas entre 2016 e 2025, considerando ano de processamento, região, faixa etária, raça/cor, sexo e caráter de atendimento. Os dados foram organizados no Microsoft Excel 2019 e submetidos à análise estatística descritiva. Resultados: No período analisado foram registradas 309.456 internações, com tendência de crescimento ao longo da série histórica, passando do menor registro em 2017 (27.216; 8,79%) para o maior em 2025 (36.786; 11,89%). A Região Sudeste concentrou o maior número de casos (136.463; 44,1%), seguida pelo Nordeste (24,0%). A faixa etária de 60 a 69 anos apresentou maior frequência de internações (22,19%), seguida pelos indivíduos de 50 a 59 anos (21,46%). Houve predomínio de pessoas autodeclaradas pardas (44,23%), do sexo masculino (51,8%) e de atendimentos em caráter de urgência (93,4%). Os achados corroboram a literatura ao evidenciar maior ocorrência em adultos mais velhos e reforçam a elevada demanda assistencial relacionada à doença. Nesse contexto, destaca-se a importância da fisioterapia na prevenção de complicações respiratórias e musculoesqueléticas, mobilização precoce, recuperação da funcionalidade, treinamento da marcha e promoção da independência, contribuindo para melhores desfechos clínicos e qualidade de vida. Conclusão: As internações por hemorragia intracraniana apresentaram crescimento progressivo no Brasil entre 2016 e 2025, com predominância na Região Sudeste, em indivíduos de 60 a 69 anos, pessoas pardas, homens e atendimentos de urgência. Esses resultados reforçam a necessidade de fortalecer ações de prevenção, diagnóstico precoce e organização da linha de cuidado no Sistema Único de Saúde. A fisioterapia constitui componente indispensável da assistência multiprofissional, desempenhando papel fundamental na prevenção de complicações, recuperação funcional e promoção da independência, além de subsidiar estratégias para qualificação da assistência e ampliação do acesso à reabilitação.
