Introduction: The climacteric is a physiological event in preparation for aging that can compromise not only the physical and mental state, but also influence the quality of this woman's interpersonal interactions. Objective: To recognize the factors associated with sexual dysfunction and marital satisfaction in climacteric women assisted in Primary Care. Methods: Cross-sectional research, carried out between October/2019 and March/2020, with 83 women between 40-65 years old, registered in the Family Health Units of a municipality in the interior of Bahia, in a marital relationship, active sexual life in the last 6 months with minimum score equal to 5 on the Menopause Rating Scale (MRS). Excluded pregnant women, history of bilateral oophorectomy, previous hormonal disorders and others that would make participation in the study difficult. To collect data, a sociodemographic, health conditions and lifestyle instrument was used. The MRS; Sexual Quotient - female (QS-F) and the Marital Satisfaction Scale-Her Collection. For analysis, Pearson's Chi-square test or Fisher's exact test was used, in cases where the frequency was less than five. In both cases, the significance level was 5%. The study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee. Results: Higher prevalence of sexual dysfunction (SD) among those aged ≥60 years; no paid occupation; with comorbidity; on continuous medication and severe climacteric symptoms. Sexual function was associated with marital satisfaction. Conclusion: age ≥60 years, severe climacteric symptoms, comorbidities, continuous medication use, predisposes to DS. Physiological changes associated with the level of interaction with a spouse can influence SD.
