Fototerapia melhora endurance muscular em pacientes no pós-operatório tardio de reconstrução do ligamento cruzado anterior: estudo clínico randomizado cruzado duplo-cego

Resumo

Objetivo: Avaliou-se os efeitos agudos da fototerapia na Endurance muscular em pacientes no pós-operatório tardio de reconstrução do ligamento cruzado anterior (LCA). Métodos: Dez indivíduos foram randomizados em grupo controle (GC) e grupo fototerapia (GF). O primeiro grupo recebeu fototerapia em seis pontos dos músculos do quadríceps femoral bilateralmente na primeira sessão e placebo na segunda, enquanto o segundo grupo foi submetido ao oposto. Os participantes foram avaliados pelo teste de endurance, Star Excursion Balance Test (SEBT) modificado, análise de creatina kinase (CK) escala de esforço percebido de BORG e teste de 1 repetição máxima (1RM). Para análise estatística foram utilizados o teste T de Student para variáveis quantitativas e a ANOVA de duas vias para comparação entre os grupos pré e pós placebo ou fototerapia. Resultados: Houve aumento no número de repetições máxima (GF: 16,50 ± 3,74 vs. GC: 12,22 ± 4,02; p < 0,05). Não foi observado aumento no tempo placebo (GF: 23,03 ± 5,45 vs. GC: 20,44 ± 3,81; p > 0,05) e no SEBT (GF: 100,63 ± 8,19 vs. GC: 101,38 ± 3,58; p > 0,05). A análise de CK também não apresentou melhores resultados (GFpré: 206,38 ± 103,22 e GFpós: 210,00 ± 101,50 vs. GCpré: 428,89 ± 303,11 e GCpós: 428,89 ± 297,83; p > 0,05). Conclusão: Esses achados indicam que a fototerapia é capaz de melhorar a endurance nesse população.
